Graham Rowntree toured with the British & Irish Lions in 1997 and 2005 and was the set-piece coach on the 2009 tour to South Africa. For 2013 he steps up to the full forwards coaching role. He is the current forwards coach for England.
As a player, he won 54 caps in the English front row and was part of two Grand Slam squads. He was also involved with the England coaching when they won the Six Nations title in 2011. He was uncapped on the 1997 Lions tour to South Africa, but won three caps in 2005, the first in the drawn game with Argentina in Cardiff.
He joined the England National academy as a coach in 2007 and in August 2008 he progressed to become England Seniors Scrum Coach and then Assistant Coach as part of Martin Johnson's backroom staff.
He played 398 games for Leicester Tigers, winning all the major club honours, including two Heineken Cup winner's medals.
