Sale sign Macleod

Sale Sharks have announced the signing of Cardiff Blues fly-half Nick Macleod.

Macleod, a former Wales Under-21 international, has agreed a two-year deal and will join Sale during the summer.

Sharks head coach Kingsley Jones said: “I have known Nick for a few years, and he has decided to join us as he wants to play regular rugby at the highest level.

“He can play either full-back or fly-half, and he is a very competent goalkicker.”

Macleod will link up with fellow ex-Cardiff players Lee Thomas and Ben Evans when he arrives at Edgeley Park.
