It wasn't all work and no play for the 2009 Lions in South Africa
A number of days out were organised for the tourists including some daring water-based activities
Jamie Roberts and Andrew Sheridan braved the luke warm temperature to enjoy some under water sights
Test stars Tommy Bowe and Tom Croft followed suit
Croft and Ireland wing Luke Fitzgerald also enjoyed the open water, even without a surfboard
The Lons took part in some more traditional activities too, with golf a favourite for Nathan Hines and others
The golf course offered Sir Ian McGeechan a chance for some time out away from the pressures of leading the Lions
The Lions encountered some less than intimidating Springboks on the golf course
Andy Powell enjoyed the ride on a golf buggy months before his controversial buggy-related suspension
Table tennis was another favourite past time for the 2009 Lions
The non-contact sport proved popular throughout the Lions' stays at endless hotels
Face painting wouldn't be on most players' list of favourite activities but they entered into the spirit of things at functions
