Tickets for the opening fixture of the tour at the Hong Kong Stadium on Saturday, June 1 are in big demand and are selling well. And once Gatland names his tour squad in London on Tuesday, interest is expected to rocket.
The Barbarians are still assembling their squad for matches against an England XV and the Lions, but already they have signed up some world class players, including the likes of Sergio Parisse and Jaque Fourie. It promises to be a fantastic start to a wonderful tour.
Did you know, the Lions have only lost their opening game on four tours - 1971 (v Queensland), 1955 (v Western Transvaal), 1924 (Western Province Town & Country) and 1903 (v Western Province Country).
