The 26-year-old Agen player, who scored one of France's three tries in their 25-0 win over Italy on February 21, did not take part in his club's match against Montferrand at the weekend.
He will be replaced by Stade Toulousain's Cedric Heymans, whose last cap dates back to November 2002.
Coach Bernard Laporte and team manager Jo Maso will announce the starting line-up on Wednesday at the team's training headquarters in Marcoussis, near Paris.
The only change to the side that defeated Italy is expected to be the return of inspirational fly-half Frederic Michalak, who has recovered from his neck and shoulder injury.
