Eden Park has a superb pedigree in the rugby world. Started by two French internationals, Franck Mesnel and Eric Blanc, it has gone on with its cheeky pink bow tie logo to conquer the rugby world.
Teams dressed by Eden Park include the British & Irish Lions 2001, France, Wales, Scotland, Munster, Ulster and the four Welsh provincial sides as well as ZP Clubs Harlequins and Northampton and the Varsity side Cambridge .
Eden Park's connections with rugby do not end there however with many legends of the game involved in franchise stores throughout the UK and Ireland . Ex Lions Keith Wood, Lawrence Dallaglio and Gavin Hastings all have stores and England and Northampton Steve Thompson and Leeds Tykes Tom Palmer have recently opened franchises.
The company will be providing all the players and management team with a full range of formal wear that will have all the hall marks of Eden Park from horizontal striped linings to rugby ball shaped buttons.
John Feehan , Chief Executive of the British & Irish Lions is pleased with the tie up. He said: "Eden Park is well known throughout the rugby world and has stores in all four of the represented unions making it a good partner for us."
Franck Mesnel, Chief Executive of Eden Park is also delighted with the agreement. He said: "We are extremely happy to be involved in the adventure that is a Lions tour. Eden Park is a clothing brand with a true rugby heritage so for us to dress the Lions who are the ultimate rugby team is for us a perfect association."
