More than 25,000 fans have already indicated their intention to travel Down Under for the 125th anniversary Tour and they can now sign up to follow the Lions with a Priority Access Pass available through Lions Rugby Travel on Lionstour.com.
Every fan who pays £250 will be guaranteed to follow the Lions on Tour when the packages are released early in 2012.
Speaking to Lionsrugby.com, Davies said: "The relationship between the players of the Lions and the fans is unique. It's very much a two-way thing - they both need and feed off each other and I think in Australia there will be a red tide of fans moving from one city to the next.
"There are people who save a lifetime so they can go on a Lions Tour because they really are special. Every man and women go for the same reason - to follow the team and be part of something that is unique in rugby.
"The Lions only go to Australia once every 12 years. It means it is not only the biggest thing for our players but also the players from Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. It is very important to remember that because it shows how big the Lions are.
"More fans than ever before followed the team to South Africa in 2009 and that will grow again in 2013, of that there is no doubt. The Lions manage to maintain a mystique and tradition that is unique and I am sure the fans will follow them again."
