Rory Lawson captains the side from scrum-half, with only prop Alan Jacobsen, flanker Kelly Brown, wing Max Evans and utility back Sean Lamont retaining their places in the starting XV. Lamont moves from centre to wing, while Brown switches from the blindside flank to No8.
Lions duo Euan Murray and Nathan Hines both start, while 2005 Lion Chris Cusiter is among the replacements.
Scotland began their World Cup campaign with a nervy 34-24 victory over the Romanians and will be looking for considerable improvement on Wednesday.
But head coach Andy Robinson has insisted that his selection is not a reaction to an under par display first time out but a planned approach given the lack of rest time between the two fixtures.
"The selection is based on the four-day turnaround from Saturday's match and is about us continuing our winning start to the tournament with a victory over Georgia," said Robinson, who tasted World Cup glory with England in 2003.
"We spoke before the tournament about the need to utilise our squad over these opening two games given the proximity of the fixtures and that is what we have done.
"Of course we will look for considerable improvement on our display at the weekend, particularly in our discipline at the breakdown, an area where we have been consistently good in recent times. We simply must not give away cheap three points."
Dan Parks takes over from Ruaridh Jackosn at fly-half, with Rory Lamont selected at full back, therefore joining his brother in the back three at the expense of veteran kicker Chris Paterson.
Nick de Luca and Graeme Morrison are the new centre partnership, while hooker Scott Lawson is named alongside Jacobsen and Murray in the front row.
Jim Hamilton and Alasdair Strokosch take Gloucester's starting contingent to five, with Edinburgh's Ross Rennie named on the openside flank after an impressive showing as a replacement on Saturday.
