The Lions had to battle hard in the closing stages but held out for a 17-13 victory which gives the whole squad a boost heading into Saturday's third Test after two disappointing defeats against the All Blacks.
"We are over the moon with the win - the whole squad, not just the 22 guys (involved in the game)," said Bulloch.
"It was a great performance. The guys were running on empty towards the end. To get a win at a full Eden Park is a great achievement.
"They have given everything to the jersey and I am proud man to lead them off."
The Lions opened up a healthy lead with a try from Martyn Williams, but Auckland fashioned a breakthrough and closed to within a point at 14-13 down.
But the Lions held firm in the tough final stages and it came down to the character of the midweek side to pull them through.
"With 20 minutes to go we were up against it. They scored a great attacking try and we started to miss a few tackles but we dug deep, the character of the team came out and we got a great win," Bulloch told Sky Sports.
"It was a very proud moment, one of the proudest moments of my life to lead the 'midweek massive'.
"It's been a great time, we had a great tour and really enjoyed it. We have played some good rugby and to finish it off with a win at Eden Park is great."
