The Irish province have not given up hope of both D'Arcy and Shane Horgan featuring, with both players being named in a 27-man squad for Saturday's Lansdowne Road quarter-final, and Leinster coach Declan Kidney said it is "possible" they could be fit.
D'Arcy featured for just 33 minutes in this season's Six Nations Championship due to a hamstring injury.
And his fellow threequarter Horgan missed Ireland's defeats against France and Wales because of a thumb problem, but Kidney will give them as long as possible to recover.
