A number of Ruddock's players have thrust themselves into contention for the trip after starring for Wales' Grand Slam-winning side in the RBS 6 Nations.
And though Ruddock hopes his players have provided plenty of food for thought, he is sure Woodward's renowned methodical approach will lead to a balanced and competitive squad.
"Sir Clive has really been thorough and you would expect that with his reputation," Ruddock told Wales on Sunday.
"He came into the Welsh camp and really got to know the players and saw them train and play in games.
"I don't think he will make too many mistakes. I think he will get it right."
