HSBC ambassador Gavin Hastings pulled on his boots at Whitecraigs RFC in Glasgow on Wednesday with over 50 children from local schools learning from the former Lions captain.

Before taking to the pitch at the second HSBC Rugby Festival being hosted in Glasgow that day, Gavin chatted to the youngsters, many of whom had never played rugby before.

Down in Leeds, at Corinthians RUFC, fellow HSBC ambassador Jason Robinson was also in action with an HSBC Rugby Festival for over 120 children. On the day it was announced that Jason was to take up a coaching role with his former club Sale Sharks, Jason was coaching in his home town. He was also reunited with his former school teacher Mr Aspinall, who had inspired a young Jason to first take up rugby!

Also on Wednesday, the Welsh Rugby Football Union hosted their very first HSBC Rugby Festival in Llanelli meaning that all four Home Unions are now underway with delivering the world's biggest schools rugby programme in the build up to the Lions tour of South Africa this summer.
