Brown missed out on the 49-man Wallaby training squad announced early this year but head coach Robbie Deans has made it clear that his initial selection party is far from definitive.
Deans said all along that Super 15 form would have an impact on his final squad and Brown has certainly stood out despite a winless start for the Perth-based outfit.
"It would be great to exchange a Wallabies jersey for a Lions jersey," said Brown.
"To have that hanging in your living room would be a fantastic thing. And more importantly to win the series.
"I think I was 18 when I watched the last Lions tour, watching the guys I grew up idolising playing against them.
"It would be a fantastic thing to repeat it."
Brown won 23 caps for the Wallabies between 2008 and 2010 but hasn't added to that tally for close to three years.
A series of shoulder problems have halted his progress but he still has plenty of time to press his claims for a recall, starting with a big performance when the Force look for a first victory in five at the Reds on Saturday.
