The 27-year-old underwent foot surgery in September and it was thought he'd be eased back into the fold.
But Barritt, who was called out to join the British & Irish Lions squad in Australia to act as midfield cover in June, will have no time to rest on his laurels.
"It was great to get 30 minutes out of Brad Barritt. He will be likely to start against Gloucester next week," said McCall after his side's 26-8 victory over Worcester Warriors.
"It is a very satisfying result for us. We have struggled at Sixways in the last four seasons and lost here, so to come and get a bonus-point win, we are really happy.
"The scoreline was unfortunate for Worcester as they fronted up but we were very clinical and took our chances, scored four wonderful tries and then fought for each other in the second half."
