Nacewa has been out since early March with a knee injury suffered in the Blues' win over the Cheetahs in Bloemfontain but has been named in the starting team for the match at Eden Park, with Ben Atiga appointed as cover for the former Fiji full-back.

Rudi Wulf has replaced winger Josevata Rokocoko, whose Super 14 season was ended by surgery on a wrist problem this week.

Up front, Anthony Boric has displaced Kurtis Haiu from the 22, with Bryn Evans and David Smith joining the replacements.

Meanwhile, the Blues have remained tight-lipped on rumours that coach David Nucifora has agreed to join the Australian Rugby Union as high performance manager.
