Their 18-5 defeat of Nutbrown's former Crusaders team-mates leaves Ian Foster's side fifth with four games to play, all overseas.
Nutbrown and prop Ben May, another former Crusader, both return to the starting XV.
"This match is a good opportunity for Jamie to perform after coming back from a significant knee injury and for Ben May who has been a great contributor off the bench for us in recent weeks," Foster told chiefs.co.nz.
"Not only are we looking forward to our last round robin home game, but it is also a vital match for us before we head overseas for three weeks."
Foster has doubts over All Black half-back Brendon Leonard (knee), utility back Callum Bruce (foot) and prop Simms Davidson (thigh), with front-rower Craig West ruled out with a groin strain.
David Bason, Murray Williams and Simon Lemalu are on standby.
