Former Gloucester employee Rob Burgess becomes England's new team operations manager, while Mike Bundy replaces Simon Kemp as team doctor having previously worked with UK Athletics and England Saxons.

"It is vital the medical support and the logistics of the squad run smoothly, and I am confident Mike and Rob will both play a major role in the management team moving forward," said Johnson, who appointed ex-London Irish director of rugby Brian Smith as his backs coach last month.

"Mike and Rob have a lot of proven experience in their respective jobs. They will be a real asset to the management team and the squad as a whole."
