The South Africa camp refused to comment on injuries to key players Jaque Fourie and Bakkies Botha, with a decision on their fitness only likely to come when the team reassembles on Monday ahead of their Tri-Nations game against New Zealand.
Fourie left the field in Saturday's 63-9 rout of Argentina with a possible cracked cheekbone while Botha limped off with a knee injury.
Springbok flanker Schalk Burger is fit and will rejoin his team-mates on Monday while IRB Player of the Year Bryan Habana, who also missed the defeat of the Pumas, is a confirmed starter against the All Blacks.
World Cup winner Danie Rossouw is expected to be called in if Botha is ruled out, while either Frans Steyn or Ruan Pienaar is expected to replace Fourie.
