Former South Africa Sevens skipper Kabamba Floors continues his comeback from injury by celebrating his 50th appearance for the Cheetahs during round six of the Currie Cup this weekend.

Floors, who made his senior Springbok debut during the win over England at Twickenham in 2006, starts his first Currie Cup game this year having already missed the entire Super 14 season.

The 27-year-old flanker played his part in a sensational team try during last Saturday's 31-9 demolition of the Sharks and Cheetahs head coach Naka Drotské will be hoping for more of the same against the Falcons in Bloemfontein on Friday night.

"There are few flankers who can run around an outside centre the way he did against the Sharks last week," said Drotske, referring to the way the 27-year-old Floors had beaten Waylon Murray in the build-up to Fabian Juries's try.

"Everyone knows the talent and skills Kabamba has. I've always said he will play if his attitude is right, on and off the field."

Lions skipper Sam Warburton says the lessons he and his Welsh colleagues learnt in Australia last summer will stand them in good stead for their return visit with Britain and Ireland's elite next month.
