Head coach Lyn Jones left the club earlier this year, with his full-time successor yet to be confirmed. However, two of the coaches currently at the club will travel to New Zealand to spend a week watching the All Blacks in training.

Jonathan Humphreys and Andrew Millward will shadow All Blacks coaches Graham Henry and Steve Hansen, as well as a number of Super 14 coaches in the country, during a learning experience organised by Ospreys' elite performance director Andrew Hore.

"Areas for attention have been identified and they will travel with a specific mandate," Hore told the Wales on Sunday newspaper.

"They'll be looking at the Ospreys' game plan and specific points pertinent to their own coaching styles, as well as changes to the game such as the Experimental Law Variations.

"By tapping into such a rich vein of knowledge they can only improve as coaches."

Humphreys is currently in temporary charge of the Ospreys alongside Sean Holley, while Millward is likely to remain registered as a player while also coaching in the Welsh Premiership with Bridgend.
