Lions hopeful David Strettle picked up his third foot injury in just over a year during Wednesday night's Guinness Premiership encounter between Worcester Warriors and Harlequins.

Having made an impressive entrance on to the international scene last year, the England wing missed the 2007 World Cup and the majority of the 2008 Six Nations as a result of successive foot injuries.

The 25-year-old former Rotherham player was replaced at half-time during Quins' bonus-point win at Sixways and will now have a scan later today.

Speaking immediately after his side's fourth win of the season, Quins boss Dean Richards said: "David has hurt his foot. He will have a scan tomorrow.

"He came off as a precautionary measure, and we will have to wait and see what the results of the medical checks are."
