"I would be interested because it's our national team," said Holley.
"I'm a proud Welshman and want the national team to do well. It would be a great honour - I'm an ambitious coach.
"I'm only 38 but still have a long way to go in the game. My only concern is the Ospreys at the moment but if an offer came it would be fantastic."
If that offer does arrive, it could see Holley installed as a second assistant alongside Lions hero Jenkins, with both men working under the stewardship of 2001 Lions tourist and current Wales forwards' coach McBryde.
