But Ryan was most impressed with the 24 line-outs his team won and their rock solid scrummaging performance against one of the top teams in the competition.
"That's as sound a Heineken Cup performance as we have had in recent seasons. All the foundation stones were there against one of the top club sides in Europe," said Ryan.
"I'm really happy with the performance and the result. Our approach was very solid and we didn't try to overplay or force the game.
"We have an even bigger game against Cardiff Blues at the Millennium Stadium next weekend and if we can get something from there, and keep on building, then we could get out of this Pool."
