The South African could take his pick from some of the most highest-profile jobs in world rugby following his success with the Boks, but he admitted today that he would relish leading the Lions back to his homeland.
"I'd never say never. They haven't asked me specifically but it's something I would consider," he told BBC1.
"I'd always consider it. It comes around once every four years and it's a great honour to coach the Lions.
"The Lions is a massive thing. And let's face it, the next tour is playing against the world champions."
