Director of rugby Mike Ruddock said: "We've got to look at our defence and our discipline and we're probably at the stage where I'll get a top ref in and get the boys to look at a video.
"I've done it in the past and if I can do it this week I will, although we've got a short turnaround.
"I don't think it's desperation stakes. It's about doing everything we can. The intent is there, the ambition is there, the desire is there, but we killed ourselves.
"There are a lot of good things about the camp, but that's certainly our Achilles heel."
After conceding five tries Worcester remain only five points ahead of bottom club Leeds at the foot of the Guinness Premiership table and have won only once all season in the league.
Harlequins director of rugby Dean Richards was frustrated that his side has not inflicted a bigger hammering on the visitors.
It was only 12-8 with less than 20 minutes to go and Richards said: "We stood there wondering how they were so close to this, but if we were not creating opportunities I'd be really worried.
"We played what we thought was the right brand of rugby. I didn't want us to get into a bit of an arm wrestle. I thought that would play into their hands.
"All we want to do is play to our level. It's not about cricket scores. Today would have been a great opportunity, but that opportunity may not happen again."
According to Richards, England scrum-half Andy Gomarsall, who did not play because of a back spasm, should be available for England's visit to France next weekend.
Captain and number eight Nick Easter lasted until stoppage time after a late decision was made on him playing his first club game of 2008.
Easter, who spent six weeks out with a knee injury and came off in England's victory in Italy, was "carrying a little bit of a niggle", added Richards, "but came through it fine".
Gomarsall's 21-year-old replacement Danny Care was one of the stars of the win and Richards stated: "I can see him playing for England, but whether it's this year or not I don't know.
"That's up to Brian (England head coach Brian Ashton), but he's getting better and better with every game."
