Botha had been banned for two-weeks for dangerously charging into a ruck without binding on a player in the second Test against the Lions a week earlier.
The SARU were subsequently charged with alleged acts of misconduct in breach of the IRB Regulations Relating to the Game, including breaches of the IRB Code of Conduct.
The misconduct case against the SARU, its players and management was heard in Dublin on Monday afternoon by an independent disciplinary panel comprising of the Honourable Sir John Hansen KNZM (Chair), Judge Guillermo Tragant and former Australia captain John Eales.
The panel has now retired to consider a verdict, with the IRB set to announce the decision as soon as possible.
