On top of that the Irish points record holder, with 980, passed the 100 cap mark for his country when he came off the bench against South Africa earlier this month. He followed that up with a match winning contribution of 15 points in the win over Samoa, but has to be content with a seat on the bench against the All Blacks this weekend.
San Diego-born, but Cork-raised, O'Gara made his Munster debut in August 1997 and holds every points scoring record at the club and has helped them win the Heineken Cup twice, the Celtic Cup and the Magners League.
