A three-man IRB panel, comprising of New Zealand's John Hansen, Argentina's Guillermo Tragant and Australia's John Eales, were today deliberating over the Springboks' decision to show off their support to the banned Botha in the third and final Test against the British & Irish Lions.

The furore created over the citing, and subsequent two week ban, of Botha for a shoulder charge on Lions prop Adam Jones in the second Test came to a peak at Coca Cola Park when they team wore the arm bands bearing the word 'Justice 4'.

SA Rugby were subsequently hauled over the coals by the IRB and slapped with a disrepute charge.

However, the fact Giteau, one of three Wallabies to be yellow carded in the Tri-Nations game at Newlands at the weekend, wasn't cited for his dangerous and callous aerial charge into du Preez in the 35th minute of the 29-17 home triumph has incensed many Springbok fans.

New Zealand citing officer David Gray didn't feel the incident merited any further action, and Giteau has no further case to answer.
