Springbok lock Bakkies Botha will miss the third Test in Johannesburg this weekend after being handed a two week ban following his citing at the weekend.

Botha was cited for a dangersous charge on British & Irish Lions prop Adam Jones at the side of a ruck four minutes into the second half of the Springboks' 28-25 victory in Pretoria. Jons suffered a dislocated shouler in the incident and has been ruled out of the rest of the tour.

IRB judicial officer Stephen Hinds dealt with the case and found Botha guilty after a lengthy day of proceedings in Pretoria. Hinds also had to deal with the citing of Schalk, Burger for alleged eye gouging.

Burger's case was still on-going at 11.30pm despite having started at 12 noon. the Botha suspension means that three players from last weekend's Test are now ruled out.

Both Jones and his fellow Welsh front rowere Gethin Jenkins received injuries that ended their tour.

The Lions of Leicester and Leinster will bring domestic bragging rights with them to tomorrow's farewell dinner after they helped their respective sides to league titles on Saturday.
