26 January 2004 12:43pm
The Welsh Rugby Union are yet to indicate when they plan to announce the successor to Wales head coach Steve Hansen.
The WRU are currently in the process of drawing up a shortlist from the number of applications received for the job.
Former Gloucester director of rugby Philippe Saint-Andre has emerged as one of the candidates after he was sacked as Bourgoin general manager for applying for the Wales post.
Llanelli coach Gareth Jenkins is believed to be one of the front-runners for the position.
