Reports in France suggested Henry was grooming Steve Hansen as his successor, as happened when both coached Wales.

However, Henry said in a statement: "We're all focused on coaching the All Blacks to the Rugby World Cup.

"Steve Hansen and Wayne Smith are both very talented coaches, which isÂ greatÂ forÂ New ZealandÂ rugby.

"Our contracts are up after theÂ Rugby WorldÂ Cup, andÂ the NZRUÂ [New Zealand Rugby Union] will look at what's best for the team at the appropriate time."
