Davies featured in all three Lions Tests in Australia two years ago
British & Irish Lions centre Jonathan Davies revealed Clermont's European semi-final victory over Saracens on Saturday was a special moment for him.
The 27-year-old has already packed plenty into his career, with ten tries in 48 Wales caps as well as playing a key role in the Lions' historic series victory over Australia in 2013.
Next on his agenda is European silverware, and after Clermont edged past Saracens to book their place in the final, he is one win away.
More than 40,000 fans packed into the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard in St Etienne on Saturday to see Wesley Fofana's try lead Clermont to a 13-9 victory.
And with the final set to take place at the home of rugby, Davies is hoping to see that atmosphere replicated in west London.
"It's very special," he said. "A great occasion and something I won't forget. It was great to be a part of it.
"We're very lucky to play in front of that crowd and it was down to us to put in a performance and make sure we got the result worthy of the great support we had. Hopefully they can get a plane ticket over to Twickenham.
"There's a lot of rugby to be played and I look forward to being involved in it, and hopefully we can get some silverware."
