Farrell blocking out World Cup hype

Farrell featured for the Lions in Sydney two years ago
Stuart Lancaster may have announced England's World Cup training squad today but for British & Irish Lions fly-half Owen Farrell, the tournament is still some way off.
The 23-year-old, who made his Lions test debut two years ago as the tourists secured a series victory over Australia in Sydney, has endured an injury-hit campaign.
However, he made his first league start in over four months last weekend and as attentions turn to a trip to Northampton on Saturday, Farrell is quick to dismiss talk of international duty.
"I'm not thinking about the World Cup at the moment to be honest," he said.
"All I've got to focus on is what I can do now to support my teammates and to have an effect on this weekend.
"I'm sure for everyone looking in the World Cup's just around the corner and starting very soon but for the lads involved in the play-offs it's not of immediate concern.
"We've got a World Cup pre-season on the back of the play-offs but it's miles away for us - anything can happen."
