Davies is eager to get back to full fitness ahead of schedule
Jonathan Davies will miss the World Cup through injury but the British & Irish Lions centre is finding other things to get excited about across the Channel.
But Davies, who featured in all three Test as the Lions beat Australia two years ago, is taking comfort in what lies in wait for him back at club side Clermont Auvergne.
"I am looking forward to going back and catching up with the boys," he told Wales Online. "We've just had a new multi-million pound training centre built near the ground. That's going to be exciting.
"I think they are going to put me up in a bunk bed in the gym! I think that's where I will be spending the most of my time the next few months.
"I am ditching the crutches now. I am not walking 100 per cent yet, but it's moving along nicely and I'm happy where I am at the moment."
