Quinlan ban upheld
10 January 2007 11:58am
Munster have had an appeal against Ireland flanker Alan Quinlan's six-week ban dismissed.
The player was cited following a stamping incident during the Heineken Cup clash between Munster and Cardiff Blues in Limerick last month.
A three-man disciplinary panel subsequently banned the 32-year-old, whose appeal was heard by Rod McKenzie (Scotland) and Robert Horner (England) on Tuesday.
