The former Blues player expects to be in contention to face the NSW Waratahs in Sydney on Friday after a depressing spell on the sidelines.
"The last thing I want to be doing is rocking in being the negative guy because it certainly doesn't help the guys," he told The Sunday News.
"It's when I'm at home that I'm down and I try not to be when I come in. You've got to be really positive when you come into a team environment."
The 26-year-old removed his cast this week and has been allowed to return to full training.
"It's good to be out of it and just walking normally," he added. "I had to keep it on basically the whole time, other than when I was at home on the couch or in bed. I don't want to see it ever again to be honest."
