Newcastle's former England prop Robbie Morris has joined Irish provincial side Connacht.
Morris made 42 appearances for the Falcons during a two-season spell after signing from Northampton. He won two England caps in 2003.
Newcastle rugby director John Fletcher said: "Connacht represents a new challenge for Robbie, and it should allow the opportunity for the regular first-team rugby which is so important to his own continual development."
The 1970s were unquestionably the most successful period in The British & Irish Lions history, and it was on the 1974 Tour of South Africa that Willie John McBride's men inflicted the Springboks' heaviest-ever defeat in a Test against the Lions.
After the fifth round of Super Rugby, we continue to keep a close eye on the five New Zealand franchises in the tournament, with the first Test against The British & Irish Lions under three months away.
