Newly-promoted Guinness Premiership outfit Leeds gained new owners on Monday when Leeds Metropolitan University took a majority stake in the club.
The university's sports faculty Carnegie have taken a 51% stake in the club and will be represented on the new four-man board by vice chancellor Simon Lee and finance director Stephen Willis.
Gary Hetherington will continue as chief executive and represent Leeds Rugby Ltd on the board, alongside commercial director Rob Oates.
"This is a unique development whereby a professional sports team and a higher educational establishment come together," Hetherington told a news conference at Headingley.
