"I have been contacted by the directors at Leicester who wanted to know when I was tied to Stade Francais until, and what was happening next season," he told French daily L'Equipe. "For the moment, that is where we are up to."
Leicester could be in the market for a scrum-half following the serious knee injury sustained by regular number nine Harry Ellis this weekend.
If Pichot does complete a move to England, he would join up with Loffreda, who is quitting Argentina to take over at Leicester following this year's World Cup in France.
Stade's peerless full-back Juan Martin Hernandez, who is also an Argentina international, was linked with a move to Leicester last month.
A third Stade player, Benjamin Kayser, claims he is on the verge of signing for Leicester.
Like Pichot, the 22-year-old hooker is out of contract at the end of the season.
Kayser said: "I have received other offers from French clubs but when you have experienced Stade Francais, it is hard to go anywhere else in France.
"I wish to join a foreign club who have the same ambition as Stade, and Leicester fit the bill perfectly.
"It is a new challenge and as I am bilingual as my parents live in London, it is ideal."
The Tigers are keen to sign a hooker as cover for George Chuter, who is sure to be on World Cup duty with England for the first part of next season.
Leicester have also confirmed back-up number two James Buckland will be leaving the club at the end of this campaign.
