Gloucester have confirmed the signing of Scotland star Chris Paterson on a three-year contract.
Paterson will move to Kingsholm after the World Cup in October, although his switch from Edinburgh has angered Scottish Rugby Union bosses.
He is now set to link up with his former Edinburgh colleagues Alasdair Dickinson and Alasdair Strokosch at Gloucester, while ex-Scotland scrum-half Bryan Redpath is part of the Kingsholm coaching staff.
