It's going to be a belter of an occasion all round and I'm glad that both teams have everything to play for in the last game.

I think it's vital that England keep the ball for the first 20 minutes and make Ireland tackle.

The Irish forwards will be looking to get on top at the start and I expect a few high balls for Josh Lewsey to deal with. At a packed Lansdowne Road it will feel like 50,000 people are charging at him.

Talking about the venue, it's unlike any other ground. The fans are close to the pitch and are vociferous at the best of times, and I expect them to be even more so with a Grand Slam at stake. It will truly be a special atmosphere and the Irish supporters will cheer for every tackle, every line-out.

That's the reason why England must start well and cannot afford to go behind. If you trail at Lansdowne Road it's very difficult to get back at them.

We need to keep the fans quiet and the best way to do that is to start well and keep hold of the ball.

Looking back on England's previous performances, they have played marvellous rugby at times but need to be consistent over 80 minutes.

I'm confident they can win the Grand Slam, although I wouldn't put my house on it.
