It had all looked so different at half-time when the Scots trailed just 16-9, even though they played nearly eight minutes of the opening quarter with just 13 men after Andrew Mower and Simon Taylor had been sin-binned in quick succession.
England's performance impressed Logan but he also praised Scotland's fighting spirit, an area of their game he claims has been lacking in recent trips to London.
"England are a good side, we knew that before the game. If they have one fault it's that they're not so good away from home," said Logan, his country's most capped winger.
"Their defence is excellent - you'll not score many tries against them. We got through a couple of times but they tend to sniff you out just before you get to the line.
"But we fought right to the end. Sometimes Scotland sides come here and fall away at the end. A couple of years ago we lost heavily and we fell away in the last 10 to 15 minutes.
"But on Saturday we kept trying which showed the character of the side. I think we're a good team - if we build confidence and we get a few breaks we will improve."
