The Stade Toulousain youngster has six caps and last played for Les Bleus during the November Tests in 2001.

The other change to the squad on duty for the 15-12 defeat by Ireland is the return of Bourgoin prop Olivier Milloud for Christian Califano.

Captain Fabien Galthie is still sidelined after missing the Ireland clash with a shoulder injury.

The starting line-up will be announced by coach Bernard Laporte and team manager Jo Maso on March 19.
