But coach John Kirwan, who will name his squad for the March 9 match on Tuesday, is still waiting for news of his first-choice fly-half Diego Dominguez, who like Pez hails from the Andean city of Cordoba in Argentina.

Pez had a scan on his injured left ankle after limping off at the end of Saturday's 37-13 defeat by Ireland but tests showed no serious problem for the Rotherham player.

However, there is no news yet about Dominguez, who was replaced by Pez against Ireland.
