British & Irish Lions hopeful Chris Cusiter will return to The Borders team for the Celtic League clash at Ulster on Friday.
Scrum-half Cusiter was forced to miss Scotland's final Six Nations game against England last weekend with an Achilles injury but is available for the match at Ravenhill.
The return of the 22-year-old is a bonus for Lions coach Sir Clive Woodward, with Cusiter emerging as a potential tourist for the summer tour of New Zealand.
Borders head coach Steve Bates said: "Chris is fine now. He trained with us and is confident with his recovery."
