But having already fielded club captain Martin Corry ahead of the RFU's recommended 11-week rest schedule for English Lions, White now follows suit.
"It has been a gradual build-up for Julian, and all part of integrating him in. He played 20 minutes, then 40 minutes and now a full game," said Tigers head coach Pat Howard.
"We've tried to look after him, and we will probably give him a bit of a rest in a couple of weeks' time, as Graham Rowntree should be back for the Leeds game (on September 25).
"Julian is in good nick, and I think he is looking forward to the game."
White's return sees Alex Moreno switching from tighthead to loosehead prop instead of Michael Holford, while other changes following last weekend's 29-29 draw with Wasps see starts for wing Austin Healey, lock Louis Deacon and flanker Will Johnson.
