HSBC renewed its sponsorship as Principal Partner of the British & Irish Lions for the 2013 Tour to Australia in October 2010. The partnership continues the successful association between the prestigious touring side and the bank that was first signed in 2007. In the lead up to and during the 2013 British & Irish Lions Tour to Australia, HSBC will work with The Lions to engage their thousands of customers and staff around the world with the sponsorship. This includes special promotions and discounts for HSBC customers, beginning with special deals for those booking an official tour package with Lions Rugby Travel. There will also be initiatives aimed at the wider rugby community and fans both in the UK and travelling to Australia for the Tour. A significant part of the HSBC sponsorship will be the continuation of the bank's commitment to helping develop the game of rugby through grassroots programmes in the UK & Ireland, as well as in Hong Kong and the host nation of Australia. |

adidas is a proud sponsor of the British and Irish Lions. adidas’ involvement with the British & Irish Lions began with the victory in South Africa in 1997, and continued on the 2001 tour to Australia, 2005 in New Zealand, and most recently, the narrow defeat in 2009 in South Africa.
