What is The Lions Supporters Club?
The Lions Supporters Club is the official membership scheme for The British & Irish Lions tour to South Africa 2009. It has been set up to allow all The Lions fans out there to get even closer to the tradition and passion that goes with each tour.

How much is membership?
Membership costs £49

What are the postage costs?
We want to ensure that as few items go missing as possible and that members receive their welcome packs quickly. So, all items, including those being sent to our overseas members, will be sent via a tracking postal service, which although more expensive than standard mail services will ultimately ensure a higher level of customer service.

Also due to the high value of the items being sent you the tracking service will include insurance to cover lost items.

Member’s purchasing membership from Ireland will be charged at the EU rate for delivery.

UK = £6.50
EU including Ireland = £14
ROW = £24.50

Please note the item will need to be signed for on receipt.

Why are the postage costs to Republic of Ireland more expensive than UK?

All items are being fulfilled from the UK and via the Royal Mail. Regrettably, as the Royal Mail does not cover Republic of Ireland all items sent there are charged at the same rate as the rest of Europe.

What is Founder membership?
To celebrate the launch of The Lions Supporters Club we have released 5000 exclusive ‘Founder’ membership packs which benefit from two additional membership items – a branded travel wallet & a leather embossed passport cover. Each founder member will also receive an official certificate confirming their Founder Member status.

How long is membership for?
Your membership will run until 31st December 2009, taking in the full duration of the South Africa tour.

How can I join?
The easiest and quickest way to join is to visit The Lions Supporters Club website www.lionssupporters.com/join. Follow the simple on screen instructions, and after a few clicks you will be a proud member of The Lions’ only official membership scheme. When will I receive my membership pack?
Membership Packs will be arriving at our warehourse w/c 28th July and our fulfilment team will work at full capacity to ensure thay are delivered to members as quickly as possible.

Ongoing, new members should receive their membership packs within 28 days of joining The Official Lions Supporters Club.

What is in the membership Pack?

How do I get tickets to Lions matches?
Unfortunately The Lions Supporters Club does not receive an allocation of tickets for matches in South Africa. Official tour operators are the only legitimate way to get hold of official match ticket for Lions tour matches. For information on tour operators please visit http://www.lionstour.com/.

How do I get the discount from The Lions official shop?

When will the rest of the site be available?
We hope to have the rest of the website up and running by September 2008, well in advance of the build up to the tour.

How do I claim my discount with Thomas Cook?

How do I ‘Opt-Out’ of offers from third parties?
You will be issued with a log in and password for our members only website. You can amend your details in here including your communication options. Please be assured that all information sent from The Lions Supporters Club is related to the scheme and the 2009 tour.

How will I know if I have won a competition?
We will contact the winners of our competitions via telephone, so it is imperative that you give us your daytime contact number when joining. If we cannot get hold of the winner we will then send an email. We will also name winners on our official e-newsletter.

When will the 2009 tour Official Shirt be available?
We will update members on the launch date as soon as it is available.
