The British & Irish Lions wishes to inform you that the sale of Supporters Club Memberships in relation to the 2009 British & Irish Lions Official Supporters Club have been concluded and no further memberships will be sold at this stage.

We here at the Lions thank all of our Supporters Club members for their great support and enthusiasm for the 2009 Lions Tour and we sincerely hope you enjoyed your Supporters Club membership.

We are currently working to develop a new and improved offering for the 2013 Lions Tour to Australia and we would urge all Lions supporters to check the website regularly for news and updates on the 2013 Supporters Club, as well as for further details on our official Lions Tour travel programme and other supporter initiatives.

Lions Rugby Travel

The British & Irish Lions has launched its first dedicated travel company. Lions Rugby Travel will organise travel for rugby fans for the next Lions Tour to Australia in 2013 as well as running the Official Supporters Club.

The new company will be the official tour operator and will offer Supporters Club members priority access to travel packages, as well as organising a series of unique Lions themed pre-tour events between now and the Tour in 2013.

Demand for match tickets, flights and accommodation is expected to exceed supply so fans are urged to register now at http://www.lionstour.com/ in order to receive notification of the launch of both the Official Supporters Club and the travel packages as soon as they go on sale in 2011. The Official Supporters Club will also give members exclusive access to a ballot to purchase tickets at face value for all of the Lions Tour matches.

By joining the Official Supporters Club and purchasing official Lions travel packages, fans will be making a direct contribution back into rugby in Great Britain and Ireland. Revenues are fed back to the Home Unions and contribute to the promotion and development of the game of rugby in England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
