Ireland centres Brian O’Driscoll and Gordon D’Arcy have flown to Spala in Poland to continue their rehabilitation from hamstring injuries.

Skipper O’Driscoll and D’Arcy were ruled out of their country’s 40-13 Six Nations Championship win over Scotland at Murrayfield on Saturday.

The injured pair have travelled with the team’s athletic trainer Brian Green to the specialist cryotherapy centre in Spala, which was previously used by the Irish squad for pre-season training.

They will return to Ireland later in the week and any update regarding their injuries will not be known until Sunday at the earliest, when both players’
injuries will be assessed.

British & Irish Lions coach Sir Clive Woodward will be keeping his fingers crossed the pair are fit for Ireland’s next Six Nations clash with England on February 27, so he can assess their form ahead of this summer’s tour of New Zealand.
